My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut (and his sister Sage) were dumped in a ditch. Luckily they were found and they are now doing great. Peanut is a beautiful pup that just wants his forever home. He is quite a bit smaller than his sister, so either he was the runt or his daddy is different. He will need to be neutered when he is old enough. He is being crate trained, been dewormed and had his first vaccine.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
