My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suzie is a really sweet black Lab mix that just wants a family to call her own. She is good with other dogs, her current BFF is Dotty. She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly.
Suzie is about 5 years old, spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative & on prevention.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
