My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dotty is absolutely lovable! She's an older dog, about 8 years, hoping to find a home that will let her live out her wonderful golden years. She is a bit overweight, but on a diet.
Dotty likes other dogs, her BFF is Suzie.
Dotty is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative & on prevention.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
All companions from Safe Dogs By The River have an adoption fee. If we did not have these fees, we would not be able to help the next animal that comes along. Please help us to continue helping the animals we have in our care.
