My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CoJo is a stunning Shepherd type mix. He is really really sweet! He is an older guy, around 8 years old. He is so smart, he can and will open doors, locks and all manner of latches. Proper fencing and gated will be a must for him. CoJo is good with other dogs, but we don't know about cats.
CoJo is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative & on prevention.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
