My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is a really sweet cat. She had been adopted many years ago and was returned when the people had a baby. Against the adoption contract, they had her declawed. Despite this horrible act, Emma is really a nice cat. She can integrate with multi cat households with little problems. She is al little shy at first, but warms up and likes affection.
Emma is spayed, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV negative.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt cats to homes that will allow declawed cats outdoors. If we have a declawed cat up for adoption, we received that cat in that condition. We do not endorse the very painful practice of declawing. There are many simple solutions to unwanted scratching behaviors that do not cause harm to a cat.
All companions from Safe Dogs By The River have an adoption fee. If we did not have these fees, we would not be able to help the next animal that comes along. Please help us to continue helping the animals we have in our care. October 27, 2024, 12:23 am
