My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyra was a two week old kitten when she first came to PAWS. Her mother and five kittens were found trying to survive in an alley. They were pitifully malnourished and covered in fleas. Poor mamma didn't have the strength to clean them or herself. It is a miracle that they even survived. But they fought so hard to live and now they are thriving! This beautiful girl is considered a dilute calico and has a spectacular multi colored coat. She is sweet and loving but does take a little time to warm up to new folks. But the love is there and will be given for a lifetime. She currently weighs three pounds and was born 03/22/2023. (Based on the date she opened her eyes). Her adoption fee is $100. She is spayed and microchipped. She will not be old enough for her rabies shot until 07/23/2023. If you would like to meet her, please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application.
