Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our Brienne is a rambunctious beauty who will thrill Working Dog lovers. At the age of five months, Brienne and her two siblings were surrendered by owners who had an accidental litter and were overwhelmed with puppy care. We pulled this trio of cuties from a North Carolina shelter and brought them to our Rescue in Canterbury, Connecticut.
Brienne has navigated the rescue process fearlessly, and has shown a healthy curiosity in new people and places. Now she is ready for her new home. She is a vivacious girl with a bold temperament. She loves spirited, roughhouse play with other dogs and always seems to be in the thick of the action. Brienne loves to mind business that is not hers, and has potential to be a good natured Alpha dog. We seek an adopter willing to raise her as a Canine Good Citizen.
Of course, there are no birth records on these pups, so we have tested DNA to be sure of breed mix, and learned they are primarily Beagle and Australian Cattle Dog, with some Lab and Norwegian Elkhound in older generations. Our vet predicts that they will grow to be about 30 to 35 pounds, and their working roots suggest that Adopters should be prepared to provide a lot of exercise and mental stimulation.
Brienne could easily join a multi-dog home with older, well behaved dogs that will tolerate puppy hijinks. She would thrive with an active single, couple or family with older kids who are able to provide the exercise and mental stimulation that an older pup needs.
Brienne is in excellent health and has been spayed, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in Brienne, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.
