We rescued Dolly Purrton from Chicago Animal Control a few months ago. She's a 1-year old brown tabby who is naturally petite (8 lbs) and is adorable. She was with another cat at the shelter that had been adopted by another family already. When we got her, she was in very bad shape. She had eye, ear, and respiratory infections, and we thought she wasn't going to make it for a while, but we nursed her back to full health.
She is incredibly sweet with us and our kids. She likes to play for long periods of time with wands and balls, but also loves to snuggle on laps, and will sleep on you or next to you in bed. She loves wet food and meat tubes, but does not seem to like crunchy treats.
Unfortunately, she and our current cats do not get along. Although she was with other cats previously, she has shown aggression towards our two. We think she is a great cat, and we are very glad we rescued her, but she does not seem like a good fit for our family. She would be a fantastic fit with a fam
