Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elliott is an adorable, personable, and healthy, two-year-old, tri-color Abysinnian guinea pig looking for a loving guardian.
Elliott was relinquished as a single guinea pig. Friends of Petraits Rescue had him neutered so he can live happily ever after, with a male or female companion. He’s very sweet and handleable.
He would love a caring home with people who will keep him well-fed, nails trimmed, and his habitat nice and clean.
He has a healthy appetite and eats unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, a cup of fresh salad each day and an 1/8 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which he gets from his pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of his dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Elliott please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
His adoption fee of $75 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for him including his Midwest guinea pig habitat, pellets, hay, hidey hut, and water bottle.
He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
