Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Currently fostered in TX, available for out of state adoption via rescue transport**
Meet Junebug!
This sweet girl was found roaming a neighborhood all alone. A woman who works as a groomer at the vet clinic we work with, took her in and tried to find her owners. Sadly, none were ever located. So now, she's on the market for a new and improved life!
Junebug is believed to be a German Shepherd/Malinois mix. She is estimated to be around 2-3 years old and is a total sweetheart of a dog! She can be a bit leery at first meet, but once she's checked everything out and met you, she's all lovebug! She hasn't had a lot of socialization with other dogs, so she's still learning. But she does well with dogs of a calmer, friendly demeanor, who can help her learn to have fun and play more! Too energetic and she just gets nervous. She doesn't seem to mind cats at all and is sure to give them their space. So, a home with a feline companion wouldn't bother her a bit. While Junebug hasn't had a ton of interaction on a daily basis with children, she would do well in a home with kids who are patient with her. She has done well with all the ones she has met in passing, so a home with kids should be just fine as long as they are patient with her! She loves to cuddle, and will even give the softest nibbles while you cuddle and pet her as a sign of affection.
Junebug is well mannered too and knows some basics. She is fully crate trained, leash trained, and housebroken. She knows simple commands such as sit, stay and down. However, she is eager to learn so we're certain more tricks are on the rise! She is not a big barker but will whine occasionally when she is eager for something. She can be a bit of a picky eater at times, but that just makes finding what she enjoys more fun! She does not have any reactivity to other dogs, nor does she have any possessive tendencies towards dogs or humans.
Junebug is fully vetted meaning she is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as well as microchip. For more information on how to adopt Junebug, please contact us at Mokasmission@Gmail.com.
