Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the affectionate boy, Chuups🍭
* Human Interaction: Makes eye contact with strangers, is eager to greet them, wags his tail, and puts his face up against them to be petted. 🥰 Is very affectionate to the extent that he approaches and begs to be caressed. Even asks to be petted by men who approach gently and calmly.
* Dog Interaction: Is very popular among dogs. Is cautious and shy when meeting other dogs for the first time, but once he gets to know them, he becomes super social! Plays amiably with gentle dogs but feels a little pressured by overly energetic ones. Is especially popular with male dogs, and has fun playing with other friends at dog kindergarten.☺️
* Cat Interaction: Gets along excellently with the resident cat in his foster home after exploring for a day. However, is a little cautious over cats he encounters while out for walks. Gets along well with his parrot-mate too!
* Separation Anxiety: Shows no anxiety when he is among other dogs. Occasionally howls when he is left alone. Now, is getting improved with training and settles into a kennel to sleep soundly even when his family is away.
* Potty Training : Is good with both indoor and outdoor potty! Uses pads perfectly even in unfamiliar places, but prefers pooping outdoors.
* Hygiene: Fears water but tolerates baths well. Has no problem with cleaning his paws, clipping nails, and brushing his teeth.
* Walks: Is capable of walking even under the guidance of young children. Goes on brief walks only during the winter since he dislikes the damp, snowy, and cold terrain. Tolerates and follows you well when it gets too cold, but may ask you to hold him in such situations.
* Car sickness: Has no car sickness and lies down in his kennel. Occasionally becomes nauseous if he eats something before getting in the car, so it’s better if he doesn’t eat before a car ride.
💌Special Note💌
* Mastered commands like "sit, lie down, paw, wait, go in (house)!" and completed training successfully to sleep in a kennel!
* Gets scared of abrupt movement or loud noises. Does not get hostile or bark but may hide and observe you from a distance.
* Has no allergy and eats any food without picky taste. Since he was born with false occlusion, caution needs to be taken in feeding hard or boney treats. Possibly not the greatest at doing their nosework or consuming food that falls to the ground.
