My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nikka! Lovable couch-potato. When we adopted Nikka she was an anxious mess. Now at about 5 1/2, she is very mellow and will lounge around the house all day waiting for it to be walk o’clock. Her favorite game is chase, which will tire her out quickly, and her favorite toys squeak. She also enjoys walks, car rides, and socializing. She’s cautious around other dogs, but warms up quickly as long as she’s properly introduced and they aren’t aggressive towards her. She’s very protective and has gotten into a few fights in self-defense with off-leash dogs who aggressively charged at her/owner, but she’s never caused serious harm. She’s obedient, VERY food motivated, and won’t chew/eat anything that isn’t hers. She LOVES men, but wary around boys of a certain age; who knows what happened in her past..She’s friendly with kids though and will tolerate being dressed up. She HATES water, but is a good girl when bathed as long as peanut butter is involved. Ultimately, a sassy cuddly girl.
