Hi, my name is Diego is a typical boxer and big ball of energy. I love following my foster parents around the house whether it is out to play or into the bathroom to keep them company lol!

I love being outside whether it is a fun game of fetch, running out my zoomies, out for a run with my parents or just an afternoon nap. I LOVE chewing on things, especially a fun bone. I am good in a crate and don’t bark or get upset at all. I am housetrained and have not had any accidents in the house. I don’t have a mean bone in my body but am still learning social skills, so I sometimes have a hard time understanding when other animals don’t want to play as much as I do. I am curious when I hear other noises from other houses in the backyard, but I am just inquisitive, no barking. I play well with other dogs and love interacting, but sometimes have so much energy I want to keep playing when they might be done.

I am learning how to share food and have gotten much better, but my foster parents feed me separate from my foster sisters. I have met some kids and other adults in the neighborhood, and I do great with them. Kids under 5 might be difficult as I don’t know my own size and I tend to run up to people and want to say hi. I am not sure about cats. My foster home has a cat and I want to say hi but she has run from me so I don’t know how I will react, but I think I just would want play with them.
