Ciro is the only male of the 12 mill dogs rescued from a commercial breeding facility. He is a small and gentle Shiba Inu who is fearful but has come a long way in foster care. See our foster's update below:
Ciro is a sweet, intelligent, and curious boy who has been loving life since being rescued from the puppy mill. Ciro loves to be around other dogs and also does well with cats. Like most mill rescues, Ciro is fearful, but he is gaining confidence every day. He needs some time and patience to warm up to people, but will cautiously approach strangers for a quick sniff. Tasty treats bring out Ciro's brave side and help him find his confidence around people. Ciro will take treats from his foster parents, and accepts pets and scritches under his chin. Ciro is not yet comfortable on leash, and would do best in a tranquil home with a fenced yard. Ciro enjoys being outside and taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. Ciro is also content to lounge around the house and watch TV, especially "Ted Lasso"!
Ciro had full dental with 16 teeth removed and is neutered and UTD on core vaccines, microchipped, negative for tick-borne disease, and clear bloodwork. Think Ciro is a great fit for your family? Apply now!
