My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jolene is a five year old medium sized, mixed breed dog. She weighs about 30-35 pounds. She eats dry, crunchy food. She is not a barker. She likes other dogs ALOT, but gets so excited that she can play too rough. For this reason , it’s best that she is the only dog in the home. She likes cats. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccines including her rabies shot. Jolene is housebroken and listens well to commands, and can even do some fun tricks. She prefers a quiet environment where she can nap in her bed. She is not overly active, but has times of spontaneous energy followed quickly by resting again. She loves her toys. She is receptive to treats and to praise. She is not receptive to yelling or punishment, which will, in fact make her cower. She is low energy, loving and very sweet. She does not travel well. She will make a wonderful companion to anyone, but preferably a retired person or couple with a routine life would most likely suit her best. No grooming necessary.
