Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Tom is an approximately 6 year old nugget with the most fun personality! He is good with other dogs and has been living with one in foster. Tom loves to play fetch, tug and run through his tunnel. His other favorite activities include "petties" on his belly, trying to play with his chicken friends and giving his people kisses. Tom knows commands like sit, wait, gentle/easy, come, lay down, paw. Tom has some serious hops for a smaller guy so we have been training him in agility casually to get that energy out! Don't worry though, we still use a baby gate to block the kitchen and he is still very clueless about his ability to jump right over it.
Tom's Favorite toy: A bone or a ball Tom's Favorite thing: People he loves giving snuggles Tom's Least favorite thing: The leaf blower Tom's goofiest behavior: His excited run can sometimes fully be a 4 legged bunny hop
Tom is fully potty and crate trained although he will generally not 'destroy' anything if left alone uncrated. If given a particularly special treat, Tom will run with it to his crate because it is his "safe space". Tom is eager to please and one of the happiest fosters I've ever had.
Tom comes a bit of an unknown background but he shows signs of being taken too early from him mom (nursing himself on a toy at night, etc.) and we know he was seized from a homicide investigation where he was chained outside along others so he does have some scars and a significant fear of strangers, at present we are working with a trainer. He has been slowly introduced to many with great results.Tom may require a special adopter to become familiar with some triggers, but he is a special guy worth everything under the sun and will make a great addition to someone's life!
***All dogs listed on our website are in private foster homes. To arrange a meet and greet with a dog, you MUST fill out the adoption application so that it can be sent to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a match for the dog. If a dog receives multiple applications, we operate on a best-fit basis, not first come first served.***
