Hayden is a Black Lab/Boxer Mix. He is Black with a little white. Hayden is 3 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 15 lbs.
Hayden is a bundle of joy! Him and his brother Hunter were taken in by the pound because they had no where else to go and boy are they happy they did because they ended up here! They are so funny together, two black blobs wrestling around on the floor! Hayden is the smaller of the two boys, he has the adorable stripe us his muzzle! He loves to give you kisses, and be held in your arms. He loves food and will do anything for food. We are starting to teach them how to "sit" and they are really catching on quick they are very smart. Hayden will also lay down for food if you make him follow the treat. Hayden likes his belly rubbed as well. He is such a great boy and is very smart for being so young. Hayden walks great on the leash and is currently learning "steps" and is doing so well going up and down them. He likes to run and hop around the back yard with his brother and the other dogs. He likes playing with our 70 pound Boxer Lucy, she is really great with the puppies and loves when she lets them chew on her ears. Hayden already found a favorite toy here, and it's a braided red and white rope and he carries it, the best he can around the house. He is a typical puppy, very curious about the house and has already learned that he enjoys the softness of our couch!
Hayden would do so well in any household. He really is a great puppy with so much potential and he's so very smart already. He does great on the leash and for being so young that's very good. He is also completely crate trained and if you take him out enough times he is also housetrained. He loves other dogs especially his brother, but plays great with dogs of all sizes. Hayden also loves people, he loves to be carried around and if you don't carry him around he'll follow you around the house seeing what your up to. He does like the sit on the couch, but with him being so young you could easily teach him not to be on furniture. He loves toys, and will be seen carrying around his rope toy most of the time he's out and about. Hayden also is a big foody, he likes treat and will "sit" for them and also lay down. He can't wait to have his very own home where he can give kisses and carry his rope around all day long. He also has the potential to be taught to be off-leash because when he's on the leash, he follows you wherever you go so there's always that possibility as well. He also really loves kids because they never get tired of throwing his rope toy down the hallway! He can't wait to have his own forever home!
Hayden is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
