This stunning brown husky with heterochromia (bi-colored) eyes will stop you in your tracks. He is an owner surrender due to his previous owner being to ill to properly care for him. They are hoping somebody can give him the active lifestyle he deserves.
He is a 2 year old male and full of endless energy. He absolutely loves dogs and will play for hours. He has never been around a cat. He knows basic commands sit, down (he learned that one in 10min, he is smart and catches on quickly), shake, and we are working on stay and place. He was potty trained but then his manhood came in and he started to mark things so we are working on that also. He is very well kennel trained. But he is like a sour patch candy; so with the sweet comes some sour.
He has struggled with trusting humans since a puppy (probably the result of a covid puppy when we were all quarantining). He will nip at new people, he has to warm up to people and it takes him sometime. This is a behavior that has been worked on and has gotten better but is still being worked on. He needs somebody who understands huskies and will be patient with him while he gains trust in humans.
