Say hellloooo to Sherry! 😻
This little girl had a very rough start to life. She was born into a feral colony and got very sick. A caretaker of the colony reached out to us because she was worried about her survival with her being so sick. 😿
We made arrangements for her to go to the vet right away. Little Sherry spent a month at the vet trying to get better. Unfortunately there was some damage to her lungs so you can hear a bit of raspy breathing sometimes. This will likely never go away completely. Thanks to the wonderful lady (who she is named for) she did survive and is finally ready for adoption.
Sherry is not a fan of being picked up, although she is doing better all the time, but absolutely loves to be petted. 😻
She likes small spaces like covered cat beds where she feels more secure. It’s hard to believe she came from a colony with how loving she is. Maybe she just knows she was saved 🤷♀️. Sherry just needs someone who will allow her the time to acclimate to her new surroundings. Look at her big beautiful yellow eyes!
If you can give Sherry time to adjust, lots of love and able to deal with a bit of raspy breathing at times please fill out our adoption application. She does not need medication just lots of love 💗
