Kit Kat was part of a litter of puppies rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas just before Halloween. All the puppies had scabies, and Kit Kat developed pneumonia too. She healed well, and showed everyone that just like her namesake candy, she is sweet as can be! She's initially timid, but comes out of her shell quickly. She loves to romp and play, and enjoys all kinds of food and treats. She is very snuggly and affectionate to everyone, and is good with dogs, cats, and kids. Kit Kat is also very smart, and is quickly learning obedience commands and leash walking skills. This beautiful girl will make such a great addition to someone’s family!

Kit Kat was born with a constricted airway. It's only noticeable during strenuous exercise or when she's overheated. She'll wheeze to catch her breath and then it stops as soon as she recovers. It doesn't require surgery or medication. She is otherwise totally healthy and is expected to have an happy, normal life.
