My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is May and I am a labradoodle. At no fault of my own. I have found myself looking for a new home. Time is of the essence because my current family was trying to drop me off at the shelter.
According to the vet, my age is between 2 and 4 years old. I am crate trained and I love to play fetch. I’m looking for a loving family without children and room for me to run around. I don’t get along with cats and small dogs, but I do like other big dogs. I know how to walk nicely on the leash but still need someone to teach me how to reliably sit and stay.
I didn’t grow up around people so it takes awhile for me to get comfortable. Once I do, I am very playful and have often been referred to as a large lap dog. I would make a great companion for a family who has the patience and time to help me move past my anxiety and build up my confidence.
I have a very sensitive stomach, and I do best on Wholehearted Beef Active Performance food from Petco. I have been prone to ear infections, but my current humans have found a product that works well for me. I don’t love the groomers, but because I am a doodle, I should get groomed every 6-8 weeks.
My current humans are very sad to let me go, but they know it’s best for me. They will provide my new family with my toys, crate, leash, and rest of my food. I have a microchip and I am up-to-date on my shots - my humans can provide records. I will be in need of a groom when I come to your house.
