My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Charlie, but I am also know as Mr. Independent. I've been through a lot in my life, so please don't misunderstand if I am a little stand offish at first. I've been staying with some trainer friends for a bit to help me through some stubborn behaviors and they say I am great on a leash and know my basic commands. I love being outside and being brushed. Maybe I will find a family who will brush me outside while I lay in the sun! Some other things I really like are my crate, structure, playtime and food! I am search for my forever home where I can build a bond with my person or people. I need to feel that bond before I can trust. I will admit, I do like doing things my way, but I am also reasonable once I understand you respect me. I am looking for a family (no kids please) or one person who is very patient and will work with me to become a “team”. I hope you will ask to learn more about me and maybe even meet me! Maybe you will think you can give me a chance but most importantly, a home. Thank you for understanding.
