My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darlin came to the county shelter after being found injured by another dog. She had lived on a chain her entire life and was vulnerable to other dogs in the neighborhood. Kerrville Pets Alive provided the medical care necessary to treat her injuries, and she is one beautiful girl now!
Darlin is high energy, and now that she has freedom, she is sowing her oats... She is presently at a training boarding facility, being taught just how nice humans and other dogs can be! She loves people and wants to be a lap dog when not running and chasing... She has lived with cats before, but has not harmed them, she was just curious. She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. She is a work in progress and we're very proud of her overcoming her past traumas!
Darlin should go to an active family, with a fence and experienced in the pit bull terrier breed.

Kerrville Pets Alive! mission is to save adoptable cats and dogs impounded at Kerr County Animal Services from euthanasia. We offer pets from our surrounding communities in Kerr County that we have possession of for adoption, placed in foster care or boarding.
