Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please read Teddy's bio carefully to make sure this sweet boy is a match for your lifestyle.
Teddy is a neutered, vaccinated, healthy 2-year-old yellow Lab/Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix who weighs 82 pounds. Teddy is a very active, friendly, playful, sweet boy who plays well at doggy daycare, although he can forget his size. Teddy is crate trained but it isn’t used often because Teddy’s dad worked from home. Teddy is housebroken (no dog door) and will sit by the sliding patio door or nudge you to signal he needs to go outside. Teddy is good with kids of all ages but best with bigger kids due to his size and energy, No food/toy aggression. In fact, Teddy likes to share toys. Although Teddy enjoys the company of other dogs he is NOT good with kitties! Teddy is super smart and knows commands for sit, lay, stay, shake, outside, kennel, and wait (for eating). Teddy could use some continued work on leash manners as he will happily pull on a walk to go over to visit dogs and people he sees. He is friendly with all strangers, greeting every visitor at the door with a bark and kisses. Although he has been taught not to jump, Teddy gets excited and forgets often until reminded. Teddy rides well in the car, loves to play fetch and excels at swimming! He loves being outdoors, sunbathing, swimming, running, playing or napping in the shade. Teddy is looking for a loving, active family that isn't gone long hours away and who would love to add this big, silly, sweet guy to their family!
His very caring owner had to give up Teddy because his elderly mom with disabilities will be coming to live with them. Teddy is just too big and can easily knock over a frail person. he is trained but still gets to excited.
His adoption fee is $450. Due to his size, no small children, condo or apartment. Please visit our homepage at www.luckydogrescue.org, click on his picture, and fill out an application.
