Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ghost is a Siamese mix and has the most beautiful blue eyes in the world. He is quite the independent kitten. He loves to play, especially with the ball and bell toy, and will wrestle with his siblings. He acts like the older brother of the group and is usually the one who is okay with being put to sleep for the night.
He may not be a lap kitty, but his happy to sleep next to you on the couch or on the floor. He is a bit more shy than his siblings but does not have any problem meeting new people or kitties. His favorite place to sleep is a little glass bowl that holds his foster mom's napkins.
Ghost's mom, Rena was found fending for herself. She was acquired by a landlord with the intention of putting her to work on rodent patrol. This person didn't believe she needed to be fed, so left her to fend for herself. She then wasn't spayed and ended up having her kittens, When Chicago Cat Rescue found her, a kind resident was feeding her and had given her a covered box to be out of the wind when she had her babies. CCR rescued the family when the kittens were just days old.
**We plan to place Ghost in a forever home with his brother, Puff, and his mother, Rena. We know that threesomes are tougher to place, but we think if you saw Ghost with his mom, you’d understand why we’re trying to keep them together in a forever home. We also want the 2 kittens to have playmates in each other.**
If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please.
CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
