Puff is a fearless little kitty who will play for hours with ambition. He loves to jump up the legs or chairs and then spin down them with his arms still around the leg; it's adorable and mimics a little pole dancer.
Puff loves playing with people and is not shy with new guests. He will come right up and try to play with anything that is moving; his favorite is a ball on a string, but he otherwise isn't very picky. He is fine with being held when he's tired, but prefers to cuddle up next to you over being on your lap. Puff's favorite spot to sleep is in empty wooden chairs or curling with his brothers, Bug and Ghost.
He would be an awesome addition to any home, he is incredibly curious and good-natured! He loves people and adventures.
Puff's mom, Rena was found fending for herself. She was acquired by a landlord with the intention of putting her to work on rodent patrol. This person didn't believe she needed to be fed, so left her to fend for herself. She then wasn't spayed and ended up having her kittens, When Chicago Cat Rescue found her, a kind resident was feeding her and had given her a covered box to be out of the wind when she had her babies. CCR rescued the family when the kittens were just days old.
**We plan to place Puff in a forever home with his brother, Ghost, and his mother, Rena. We know that threesomes are tougher to place, but we think if you saw Puff with his mom, you’d understand why we’re trying to keep them together in a forever home. We also want the 2 kittens to have playmates in each other.**
If you would like to meet and possibly adopt this amazing feline, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please.
CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
