Hi, I’m Shy Guy!

Don’t let my name fool you! While I can be a very shy and timid boy when I first meet you, once I get to know and trust you, I’m full of love!!

I love spending my days playing with the resident dog, chasing after and wrestling with her. Getting out on walks is a lot of fun too. I walk loose leash and I’m not reactive, although I might let out a low growl if I’m nervous. I’ve gotten along with every dog I’ve met and would do best in a home with another dog. I’m not kennel trained but you can trust me to leave me at home alone without getting into trouble. As long as I get some exercise everyday, I’ll happily curl up on the couch with you or with a doggie friend while you’re out. I love getting cuddles too!

Likes: Treats, rope toys, playing with other dogs, car rides, getting cuddles, drinking from the garden hose and playing in water Dislikes: I can still be nervous in new environments and with any sudden movements and strange or loud noise

Special considerations: It might take me some time to fully feel comfortable in my forever home and will need a family that is patient and understanding

If you're interested in adopting one of our animals, all you have to do is...

-Fill out an adoption application for either cats, dogs or small animals, which is reviewed by our team
-Wait to be contacted to arrange a day/time to meet with the animal
-If approved you will be walked thru the final steps to adoption. Adoption fees are payable at the time you take the animal home.

More about this rescue

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a foster home based Animal Rescue located in Edmonton, Alberta. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted, abused and neglected animals and find them their forever homes. We are different from other animal rescues in that we will try our best to not only help cats and dogs but any pet animal that has been unwanted, abused or neglected subject to our volunteers, foster homes and donations. This is one of the many reasons iwars needs you!

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a no-kill animal rescue organization. We will help out any of the animals we take into care with any medical treatments, procedures and medications they may need. We will only euthanize when it is with a qualified veterinarians advice such as terminal illnesses where the animal is suffering. Every animal that comes into iwars is a member of the family.

We need volunteers to help in all different areas of iwars and with your help we can help to save more animals lives. We here at strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that "saving one animal will not change the world but surely for that one animal the world will change forever" - Unknown.
