My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murphy is from a very over-crowded shelter in southern CA, and was in “ruff” shape when we first met him. He had all the symptoms of being malnourished, i.e. a very unhappy tummy, extremely skinny, itchy skin, and missing patches of hair. This poor little guy has most probably spent his whole life living outdoors without the option for much shelter, and spent too much time in the sun as the top of his head is a reddish brown in color instead of chocolate brown.

He is extremely sweet and loving and gets along with EVERYONE! He loves to play with other dogs and was extremely appropriate when he met a group of cats. He would be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a sweet and loving dog who is eager to learn new things and love you unconditionally.

Since entering our program, getting the necessary veterinary care, and being fed a great dog food, Murphy is feeling and looking SO MUCH BETTER!

Murphy is about 42 pounds, a neutered male.
