Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coming Soon in Maryvlille, TN - This is Rosie… aka Nosey Rosie, Giraffe, Rosebuddy, the absolute BEST snuggle buddy.
This lady right here has a heart of gold, not one bit of anger or aggression in her, and would lick your face right off if you held still long enough.
Although she weighs 65 pounds and has legs like a giraffe, she firmly believes she should be in your lap getting loved on. She loves to play with other dogs, doesn’t mind children as long as she gets to run up and sniff them first, and she is very food motivated and gently takes a treat after a sniff inspection first.
Car rides are a fun adventure, she waits at the doors to be let out or go through gates, she knows sit, shake, down, and waits.
Some things I’ve noticed during her stay… she does not like water, no hose, no rivers, no pools. She prefers dry land and a water bowl is all she needs to get her water adventure needs fufilled.
She gets tired after about 1-2 miles of walking on a decent day… I don’t think she is fit for someone looking for an hardcore adventure buddy… she is more of a partial day trip kinda gal and relax the rest of the day with some loving and throwing the squeeky toy around the yard for a little while.
Rosie probably came from somewhere where she was screamed at. I raised my voice once out in the yard and she did not like that… got very nervous and was looking for an escape route. After some snuggles sitting in the yard together, all was right in the world again. We know now to speak softly and at normal levels.
Once she is spayed, she will be ready to find her forever home. She is 4 years old, current on immunizations and on preventatives. If anyone is looking for a love bug who does not need many mile long adventures … keep Rosie in mind 🙂
