Located in Land O Lakes, FL - This handsome guy is Jameson, a 2.5 year old male Australian Shepherd who weighs around 34lbs and is ready to find his Furever Home.
Jameson is a super sweet boy and is always looking for affection and is willing to return it. He has tons of energy and needs a home that will keep him busy with lots of exercise. He does not have a 'turn off' switch at night if he hasn't been exercised enough during the day, so again an active home is preferred.
He walks good on a leash until he sees other dogs then he gets really excited and whines and jumps so he will need continued training on this. He does know sit, leave it, down and roll over so Jameson needs a home where he can receive continued training as he is so smart and eager to learn.
He his good with cats and kids. Kids over the age of 5 are preferred because he is still learning to not jump up on people. He does well with other dogs but ones close to his age and energy is best because if not, they may not tolerate how much energy he has.
A home with it's own fenced yard is preferred because of his energy and this would allow him his own space to run and play.
He does have allergies to storage mites, so his kibble needs to be frozen for 24 hours before feeding him. He does a combination of kibble and canned food per his vet. With this combo we have gotten his scratching and allergies under control.
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. A meet and greet is required.

There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
