Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We've been calling him Brick, but you can call him whatever you want. He's just happy someone is talking to him!

Meet Brick! He is a one year old, 42 lb Beagle/Basset mix that is just full of love. When he isn't playing with his foster sisters he loves to cuddle with his foster mom and take naps on the couch. He does well with the three dogs and two cats that he lives with, he is also potty trained! We're working on teaching him how to use the door bells so he can let us know when he wants to go out and he's taken to it quite well. We do currently feed him separately from his foster sisters because this man is a food hound and will eat everyone's dinner before they even get to it. He does have a meal time routine that he picked up on very quickly and no longer involves screaming at his foster mom for food. Brick seems eager to please his people and loves treats, so training him should be a rewarding experience for both him and his new family.
Brick is crate trained , although he would much rather sleep in your room with you! He loves being around people and does have a tendency to cry for a while when you leave him, but after a little while he does settle down. Since Brick is a young boy he does tend to have a few good bursts of energy throughout the day, he loves to run around in the yard with his foster sisters and is a big fan of chew toys. Brick would be really great for someone looking for a walking/hiking buddy or a friend for their dog to play with! Brick will require a home with a fenced in yard.
