Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Angel is a very sassy but sweet cat. She definitely chooses when she wants to be with you and when she wants to be alone, a great mix of independent and loving! She likes people and cuddling, but on her own terms. During the day, Angel loves to lay in a good sunspot and watch the birds out of the window. She’s got tactic when she plays: first pretending she's too cool to play with toys and then attack at the last minute. Angel is more likely to seek her foster mom out and will tell her when she wants pets.
As far as toys, Angel likes the laser pointer, wand toy, and catnip toys. She will watch her brother, Pepper play and periodically jump in when she is ready. Angel is just so sassy! She's like a stereotypical cat (but calmer and sweeter). When she chases after the laser pointer it is hilarious because she runs in a funny crouch position. Both Angel and Pepper are extremely chill and loving. They like to play but are often just content to lounge with you and relax.
Angel and Pepper have bonded in their time together so we intend to keep the two of them together and place them as a pair in their forever home. If you live alone, or just and want to come home every night to love and relax, these two are perfect.

CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our Chicago foster families. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.
At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.
Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.
Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
