Hi, my name is Esme and while the suites at the kennel have lots of interesting sights and sounds, and some really great people to spend time with me, I'd really love to be back in a home with my own humans. I'm a loyal gal who enjoys walks and car rides, and I really try not to ask much of my people. I'm old enough to know how to behave myself but still young enough to show my spunk when appropriate. Esme is a 4.5-year-old red girl who is patiently waiting for her forever home as her previous human's health is too poor to continue caring for her. She is a sweet girl who walks very nice on a leash and knows basic commands. Typical to her breed, she bonds deeply with her people. Esme has no known history with cats but is good with other dogs. Due to her size, it is recommended that she not be in a home with smaller children.

Esme is fully vetted and looking for a devoted foster home or foster to adopt situation. She would benefit from a home that would exercise her and help her to shed a few pounds.
