Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Olivia!! A 5/6-year-old boxer girl.
Olivia is quiet gentle pleasing happy sweet, and mellow love for all she meets human dogs, cats, rabbits, big or small this girl is PERFECTION she will make anyone a great best friend.
She and her brother Geddy Lee surrendered to us due to their owner's declining health and unable to continue their care. They, unfortunately, have always lived a sheltered isolated life with elderly owners. Rest easy both babies are in perfect health and have been well cared for. Both have great manners and are very happy dogs who enjoy meeting people, dogs, and cats and have done well with small critters too. Although they lived a solitary life, they are now very much happy loving social butterflies true to their breed. Both have done exceptionally amazingly well with children too! Especially for never being around them ever. They can be adopted together or separately.
Both are so very sweet and welcoming to every person and animal they have met since in our care, with a happy loving heart. They are full of puppy love energy but to be honest, that's every boxer. It's known to be happy-go-lucky clowns. Olivia has met many dogs, cats, bird, turtles, indoor rabbits, and our huge chicken rooster duck flock and have done incredibly well with them all.
Olivia is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto & corona and 1 or 3-year rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration for life, spay/neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. We do NOT ship and meet and greet are required before adoption unless you are a previous adopter.
Previous adopters of AHS have the first choice and are not expected to pay another adoption fee again. Donation of their choice is welcomed.
Training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues and opportunities arise daily that have to be addressed and or rewarded. Continued training is a must.
