My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jae! This smart and affectionate girl is on the lookout for a loving family to teach her new tricks and share the simple joys of being a dog. At first, she might seem a little shy, but give her some time, and you`ll find that she`s all about cuddles and sweetness. Jae loves nothing more than snuggling in your lap and showering you with all the kisses you could ever want!

Jae dreams of a home where everyone respects each other`s boundaries, creating a peaceful and secure environment. While she`s not the biggest fan of cats (they make her a bit nervous, bless her heart!), she’s eager to meet any canine companions you may already have. Jae`s playful spirit truly shines when she’s with her beloved toys, and she’ll bring endless joy to a family that can offer her plenty of love and fun.

Since Jae needs a calm and understanding environment, she`d thrive in a home with kids aged 14 and up. If you`re ready to welcome this sweet girl into your life and provide her with the love and security she deserves, Jae is eagerly waiting to meet you!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
