SUPER NICE MALE GERMAN SHEPHERD AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Described by his temporary caregiver as a “dream dog,” Zeus was fortunate to have come to Kiko’s care through our partner shelter. They had been made aware that his owner wanted to euthanize him because he was left tied alone outside all the time, and neighbours complained about barking. Enough said about that.

Since coming to Kiko, this 3-year-old German Shepherd has hardly barked. Zeus, who weighs about 75 pounds, is friendly, bonds quickly with new people, and is clean inside. He used to live compatibly with a large breed female dog, and is even good with cats. Zeus adapts well to other sociable dogs; after a proper introduction, he just wants to play. Zeus is very obedient, loves learning new things, and has excellent potential.

Zeus will make an amazing pet for someone who knows and understands that German Shepherds are a working breed requiring regular exercise and mental stimulation. He’d love a quiet home in the suburbs or in the country. Zeus is not used to younger children, so an adult home or one with dog-savvy children over the age of 10 would suit him best.
