Meet Poppy!

This exceptional girl was brought to the shelter as a stray. She was kenneled with another dog and proved to be a "gentle, dainty" playmate.

Poppy is a soft and quiet girl who loves to go on walks and poke around the backyard. She is initially shy, but then will give you a big smile and jump up to hug you. She has been in our rescue for just a few weeks and is already a rockstar! She is with our trainer learning not to jump and perfecting her leash manners. She would be a wonderful addition to your family with kiddos. She's a medium-sized girl, 2 years old, and is house trained and crate trained.

Poppy is in southern California. Let us know if you'd like to meet her--this sweetheart is waiting for a family of her own.
