Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Honeydew is one of the sweetest fruits at the farmer’s market, and one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet!! This lovely little lady came to PACC as a stray and has won everyone over with her bouncy, happy personality. And it sure doesn’t hurt that she’s cute as a button!! Honeydew came to PACC with a bit of a hitch in her giddy up and was diagnosed with Valley Fever. Now that she’s on the right medication, she’s ready to head home and start living the rest of her life!
Honeydew spent a bit of time in a foster home and her foster said the following:
“She is a very mellow dog and we think she enjoys the couch potato life!”
In another foster home Honeydew did great with kids of all ages, even babies. She was well- behaved when left alone, housebroken, and was described as sweet, affectionate, and playful. And, in yet another foster home she again did well with kids and was very sweet with them, was crate trained and housebroken, loved balls and rope toys, and loved everyone she met. As you can see, she’s an expert at foster homes, so Honeydew would like to apply her good girl skills to a forever home next!
Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said:
“Honeydew is a great walker- she checks in constantly does a little sniffing around. She knows sit, paw, down and likes to play fetch. She also does an adorable army crawl.Honeydew is affectionate and makes good eye contact, takes treats gently and is a great walking companion. Sweet lady!”
“Honeydew is a very good girl. She’s very sweet and a great walker.”
Honeydew would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit (or would love to have all your attention to herself as an only pet). She is looking for a home without cats. Ask to meet Honeydew today!!
