My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we found out that Nancy and Francis were going to have puppies, we knew they would certainly be unique and incredibly cute, but Sean, Patrick, and Ian are even more adorable than we could have ever imagined. Born on St. Patrick’s Day, 3/17/23, these pups are now 9 months old,
6-8 pounds, and thriving. They are gentle, little guys, full of life, love, and enthusiasm, that they share beautifully with each other and spread to everyone around them.  Sean, Patrick, and Ian are happy, playful, energetic pups, who love to run with each other, and play with and share their toys together. They also enjoy gentle petting, cuddling, and affection.

Sean and Patrick have more of their mother Nancy’s coloring, being blonde on their faces and heads, and Sean’s body color is lighter than Patrick’s. Ian has more of his father Francis’ coloring, being darker in both the face and body. Ideally, we would like to keep all three brothers together, but we know this is difficult. Sean and Patrick are more bonded with each other, so we would adopt them as a pair. Ian should be in a home with another nice, little, dog playmate, so hopefully he will not miss his brothers too much. They should all be in homes with secure, fenced yards. (Nancy and Francis are listed on the website separately. They are the most lovely, amazing couple, 3-5 years old, and also available for adoption.)  Sean, Patrick, and Ian are eager to please and will light up their new homes with their sweetness, cuteness, and joy. If you believe you are a great match for them, please put in an application today. Please watch the video at the end of the photos to see more of these fantastic little boys…you will not be able to stop smiling!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
