Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My Mother-in-law adopted Penny from an abusive home when she was about a year old and she has been a wonderful companion to her, Penny's favorite spot is cuddling with ML in her recliner. Penny is 4 now.
Unfortunately, ML, who is 89 is moving into assisted living in a couple of weeks and her mobility, eyesight and balance issues prevent her from being able to care for Penny any longer.
ML's mobility and balance issues have prevented her from being able to walk Penny. She leaves the back door open so Penny can take herself out to go potty, but also relies on Puppy Pads in the house when weather does not permit leaving the door open. Penny needs some retraining in this area.
Penny is OK with Cats & Dogs. She prefers adults and has not been exposed much to very young children. She does bark when people arrive at ML's house, but once you are in and you approach her, she is friendly.
She is really a sweet, cuddling dog and ML's chief worry is that we find Penny a loving new home.
