My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Xena The Warrior Princess
She fought a gallant battle against the 2021 harsh Saskatchewan winter and unfortunately the casualties of war were her ear tips and part of her tail. She is an older gal, thought to be around 10 years old, but still has lots of playfulness in her. She especially loves balls that make noise and any toy on a string. Xena is a sweet girl with a spicy side when it comes to other cats. She declared herself the alpha in our house of 3 but is quite harmless. If they get in her space she will hiss and swat. She loves belly rubs and brushes and is quite talkative especially in the mornings. She has a really good appetite despite having lost quite a few teeth. Dental surgery has taken care of any concerns there. She has a heart murmur as well as liver disease with 2 growths on her liver. She takes three different types of meds and since April has been doing miraculously well!

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
