My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Sammy! I am a sweet, little male Beagle! I am 3 years old. I only weigh about 20 lb. I have the prettiest markings! I have a well defined widows peak and a pretty ticking on my chest and legs. This makes me look rather different from most Beagles I think. I am great with other dogs including big ones! I have a wonderful disposition. You can pick me up and cradle me like a baby. I love that!!! I like to play and have fun. I like to be with you. I am house trained. I am a typical Beagle and can bay like they do on occasion, like seeing deer at my foster home. I was living all my life since a puppy in a dog kennel. My owner wanted to use me for rabbit hunting. He said that I was no good at hunting so he wanted to find me another home. He put me for free on Craigslist and rescue saw that and rescued me. God knows who would have taken me for free and what might have been done to me. I am grateful to VFAW for taking me in and getting me neutered and up to date with all my vaccines.
