Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mosley! Mosley is looking for a forever home immediately. His family is moving overseas and medically he cannot go. They thought they had him placed in a home but it did not work out, so they contacted us. Mosley is a pure breed English Labrador Retriever born on 2/4/2020 so not too long ago he turned three years old and weighs approx. 75 pounds. Mosley was rescued at seven weeks old from a breeder that surrendered him to a vet clinic. He is not without issues he lives with spondylolysis in dogs which may cause him to limp when he overruns and needs help in and out of a vehicle, many affected dogs do live satisfactory lives, even though they may be somewhat limited in flexibility and range of motion, so he is pretty much a normal dog, but at times stiff and in need of meds to manage any pain. He does benefit from good supplements and staying active is a must. He loves to swim, run and play, so the key is always to keep the weight off and keep him on the move. He would have to go to a home that is keen on body language and willing to give him what he needs for longevity and health. Mosely loves people, good around cats and some dogs depending on temperament, personality, etc. He would be fine as an only dog and would enjoy all the attention and a stay-at-home family member he would love. Mosely knows cues like; sit, lay down, go potty, and let’s go for a car ride! He is housebroken and crate trained, but not used to a leash, so may require some help leash walking. He loves to go for rides in a vehicle. He also loves food, bones, and toys and will always greet you with a toy in his mouth. He is a good boy that deserves someone to open up their heart and home to him. He would definitely require a large fenced-in yard, a home with the ability for swimming regularly would be ideal and an active household. To adopt Mosley please go to our website to complete our pre-adoption application https://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application Mosley is fully medically vetted; neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm tested negative and on prevention, Xrays provided, does suffer some allergies we will be able to provide insight on plus will be microchipped before leaving us.
