Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This spunky 9 year old cocker may not have eyes, but she has the biggest heart. Found abandoned on the side of the road, blind, with mammary masses and two deep cuts on her neck, it took three surgeries to get Charlie back on the road… this time to recovery. Fortunately, with a clean bill of health and a new lease on life, she’s now thriving! Her only remaining wish is for a loving, forever family… and perhaps a carrot if you’ve got one.
She has been living with six other dogs ranging from a chippy Chihuahua to a chill Pitbull and is a friend to all. She navigates a two story, four bedroom house without issue, goes up and down stairs, jumps on and off of furniture, sleeps through the night, explores a fenced yard, and is housebroken. She is nondestructive and lays peacefully on car rides. More than anything, she loves cuddles, belly rubs, and being around her humans. Being crated or otherwise separated from people makes her anxious, but she does well if left alone at home for moderate amounts of time.
Please give this sweet girl a chance to settle down in her fur-ever home and live the life she deserves! Apply now!
If interested in adopting this beautiful girl please submit an application at saveourcockerspaniels.org.
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm testing and be able to provide proof of purchase of HW prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
