My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


In the second picture Bootsie is in the back right. In 2011 a friend called me because a kitten has shown up in her yard. The friend was not a cat person. It was obvious that the kitten had been abandoned and there were no "lost cat" signs anywhere in the area. I took her to the vet immediately and from then on she was mine. At that time I was unaware of the damage caused by declawing a cat so I had her declawed, front only. She is a sweet cat. She is shy and because she lives with 2 male cats she spends quite a lot of time up on my cabinets. She does protect herself though and lets the males know she is the boss and they do not hurt her. She is the oldest of course but she is in good health. She goes to the vet for her yearly visits. Because she is strictly an inside cat she has not been given the feline leukemia vaccine. Many years ago I had a bad experience with a cat getting tumors from that vaccine so that is why I have not allowed her to get that one.
