My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Pat Ward (pjw6125@aol.com) for more information about this pet.John and his three brothers were part of a neighborhood cat colony until some of them found their way into a rec. center without a litter box.  They were no longer welcome, but all found homes.  John was adopted with his brother, Ringo, but returned after his owner moved and left him with his elderly grandmother who was not able to tend to him.  He's a bit shy, but not aggresive at all when picked up.  The first night he was here, he hid.  The second night, he climbed into my bed. He has not been accustomed to dogs or children.  He is very curious and will open closet and cabinet doors to see what's hiding behind them.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
