My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calvin needs a lot of love. This boy has been through a traumatic ordeal, and it can be hard for people to notice him among the many. He was part of a group of 15 cats that were left in our dumpster on a hot day with no food or water. Calvin has always carried the sadness of this day with him, and he needs someone who can help him overcome it. He needs cuddles, and also, playtime. He would love to be adopted with a littermate of his so he would always have someone to play with.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
