Frankie was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. He will travel to Virginia in April 2024 where he will be available for adoption. FOSTER: He is VERY smart, very trainable, easily redirected, affectionate, friendly, and just all-round perfect. He's crate trained, house trained (basically; dog door trained so slight adjustment); knows sit and down; working on loose leash walking (remarkably good for such a young boy) and heel. He's good with other dogs--a little pushy, but not at all aggressive. This boy would be great for an active family with kids. He is amazing with kids--see videos. Another youngish dog to help him burn some of that energy would be good. He is high energy, like most young dogs, but can settle. He will need further training; he's under a year old. I don't think he's going to get super big--maybe 50-60 lbs. He's fast and agile and would love something like agility and would be good at it.
