Sassy is as sweet as they come! As a young terrier mix dog of approximately 1 1/2 years, she is the perfect mixture of playful and snuggly. Sassy is confident, kind and gentle, and loves to let loose during playtime, especially when she gets to play with other dogs. She even gets along with cats! Sassy bonds quickly, and really enjoys being around people. Weighing only 13 lbs., she loves to claim the front row seat in your lap to watch movies, keep you company while you work, or while you read a book. Sassy is very quick and eager to learn. She knows her basic commands of sit, down, and come, and she quickly picked up potty training but continued practice may be necessary. She sleeps through the night in her crate and enjoys cozy naps in her doggie bed, but with her love of cuddling she would likely do well co-sleeping with her human at night. She loves to chew, so many fun toys can be seen in her future, especially ones that squeak! She does great in the car and walking on the leash, and is ready for all of life's adventures. She hasn't been around kids in our rescue, but we believe she would be fine with respectful children. Another young, playful dog for her would be a big bonus, but an active family is a must for this fun girl. She needs a place and space to run every day, so a fenced-in yard is preferred.
