Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bruce - Coonhound mix - Male - 11 weeks - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
Meet Bruce: Born to a stray Dog who disappeared shortly after birth, this gorgeous little Hound mix Boy and his siblings Kim and Kourtney lucked out when their finder quickly turned into an expert bottle feeder and saved the entire litter.
Bruce is about 11 weeks old and likely a Coonhound mix, we estimate him to grow to about 60 lbs when adult. Bruce is a big and sweet boy, he loves to snuggle and to be held. He likes to play but is quite mellow overall. The pups are learning house rules, but are too young to fully understand house training, ongoing training with patience is required. As puppies do, new things are quickly explored with their teeth and learning the difference between appropriate and inappropriate play and chew is ongoing. The crew has had their first set of vaccines, and has been dewormed.
Bruce is looking for a family with or without another suitable dog, he will likely learn a lot from being around another dog. He can go to a family with or without kids, he will need close supervision, frequent potty breaks and calm and patient training to grow into the gem we know s\he can be.
We are now accepting applications for these pups, they can go as foster-to-adopt to their adoptive homes after their second vaccines, and receive remaining vaccines as well as neuter surgery before finalizing the adoption.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
